Good black and white photography is does not rely on special equipment or techniques. Instead the photographer needs to consider a whole new way of choosing and relating to the subject to find the special character that is so unique to black and white photography.

Black and white photography holds a fascination for many people. Even non-photographers often find themselves drawn to a good black and white image.
